VOTE THE NEXT BUILD
The money has a destination.
Explore the demo projects below and show which ideas you would like to see supported. Individuals, community groups and businesses all have a place here.
Working demo: shared orders, voting credits and simulated allocations start at zero. No money is collected. Project goals are illustrative; resource links are real.
Sign in to save voting credits and split them across projects.
EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES
What could it take to reach the goal?
Choose a project and a merchandise scenario. See how the planned contribution per item could add up. Voting expresses your preference; it does not move money.
THE CIRCULAR-VALUE ENGINE
Value moves in a circle.
Help creates stability. Stability opens room to learn. Skills create useful work. Useful work creates value that can support the next need.

Start with the real problem.

Labor, knowledge and lived experience count.

THE RESOURCE HUB
Bring the network home.
Explore local shops and vendors, selected employer connections, training and second-chance employment opportunities. Choose a category to find helpful links, or select Jobs and enter your ZIP to explore available local listings. Our directory is growing; some categories still show a local-search demo.
YOUR COMMUNITY · YOUR NEXT PROJECT
Bring a need or idea forward.
Our planned submission process will welcome ideas from individuals, community groups and businesses. From food, water, shelter and education to small-business startup, equipment or expansion, bring forward the support that could help you move ahead.
Project applications are not open yet. Explore the submission page to see what we are building.
HELP BUILD THE NEXT STAGE
Help launch the business.
Help grow the mission.
Yucky Duckling is building a local creative business and a community resource platform. The working demo shows the direction: useful connections, merchandise, voting credits and transparent project activity.
The demo shows what we are building. Your donation helps fund the equipment, materials, business setup and operating costs needed to move toward real production and expand the platform. Help us build the foundation so we can create more opportunities to support other people.
Want to support the mission as an individual or business? Contribute through our GoFundMe or share the campaign with someone who could help. GoFundMe contributions are separate from simulated shop orders, do not purchase merchandise or issue demo voting credits, and are not an equity investment. Read the campaign for the current use of funds.
THE DUCKLING BULLETIN
Watch the network grow.
Follow new resource links and progress on Yucky Duckling. Each bulletin brings the additions together with direct links to the people and programs that can help.
THE MISSION CARVED INTO THE TREE
From survival
to stewardship.
We believe in second chances, practical education and community power. People receive the support that helps them stand, contribute according to their abilities and help keep the system growing for the next person.
WHEN PEOPLE SUCK, THE SYSTEM SHOULDN'T
EVERYONE NEEDS
SOMETHING.
EVERYONE HAS
SOMETHING.
Yucky Duckling connects people with resources, skills, land and opportunities to build real-world solutions.
Find what you need. Use what you know. Help the next person.
OUR MISSION
